The brief from this client was for a place to work, spend some quiet time and for the kids to play in. Together, we settled on a hexangonal design for this larger outdoor living space so it could be nestled in the corner of their garden, catching the sun and its myriad of shadows throughout the day.
The client had some great ideas for the internal and external aesthetic. From this, we put together a final design that drew on and accentuated these first intuitions. The space is clad in larch and finished in Douglas fir for peachy tones. Birch ply and reclaimed floorboards internally have given it a contemporary, peaceful vibe.
