This project required us to work backwards from a stained glass window the client found on Ebay and fell in love. I collected it from Cumbria and restored it back to life managing to get all the moving parts working again.
We took inspiration from the curves in the glass, which we reflected in the design internally and externally. It became known as “the chapel” by the end of our time there. The client is a keen gardener but lives in the top floor flat of the house. They wanted a room that placed them in amongst the plants to work and relax. We made bespoke Douglas fir double doors with the intention to open the space up and allow the garden in.
