I like making and designing unique pieces. My background is in traditional joinery with many years specialising in making windows, particularly sliding box sash windows.

Over time I have built a small, highly skilled team and workshop in Bristol. This has allowed me to widen my focus, taking on larger joinery projects, such as designing and building bespoke outdoor living spaces — art studios, garden offices, yoga spaces, kids’ play rooms, writing dens and, of course, garden sheds.

I have always been drawn to challenging projects that take some thinking about and unpicking. The buzz that comes from making beautiful things that people enjoy continues to be a big motivation. I like to work with people and their ideas – being given a seed of an idea and then through back and forth with the client, unlocking the concept so we can build it.

Alongside windows, doors and outdoor living spaces, I’ve worked on a range of other projects – everything from kitchens and houseboat pontoons to wood-fired hot tubs and every imaginable form of household storage. I have restored and rebuilt historic architectural features, reconfigured living spaces and built conservatories.

Most of my work is in and around Bristol, but I also work further afield. If you’re thinking about a project, have a look around my portfolio pages and send me an email so we can arrange to talk.
